Hmmmm... I don't really have any nicknames. Every now and again, I get called "chief."

Airport Boulevard service roads and the people who don't know how to navigate them. People with out-of-state tags have nearly killed me on those service roads.
What's your favorite local hangout?
I am a homebody most of the time. However, I like coffee at Books A Million or Barnes and Noble or PJ's in Daphne. The Fairhope Municipal Pier is also an awesome place to hang. I find Flea Market Mobile a fascinating place.
Do you have a life motto or creed?
Yes. My life motto is "Wait at least 24 hours before you send that angry email".
What's your most embarassing moment?
I have lived a thousand embarrassing moments. One of the worst happened when I met my college roommate. He was a guy that got paired with me in the Alpha dorms at USA. We met, shook hands, and took a tour of the campus, even stopping to play pool for a while in the student center. When we got back to the dorm, I noticed that my fly had been open the entire time we walked around campus. I'm sure I made a great first impression.

Cher. I'm sure that after almost 40 years in the entertainment biz, she has some great stories to tell.
What's your favorite snack?
Cereal.

Diet Coke with Splenda. and I drink Splenda-sweetened Kool-Aid. The Lime flavor is amazing.

I think the Food and Drug Administration has the government's food pyramid upside down.
How do you spend your spare time?
Helping take care of Alex, my seven year old son. How could you have any other hobby?
Do you have any trophies or prized possessions?
I have no trophies. As a man who loves to watch sports, I am proud to say that my large TV set is my most prized possession.

The Raspberries Greatest Hits. It's kind of embarrassing, but I still like to listen to it anyway.
What's your favorite article of clothing?
A plain navy blue t-shirt.
What movie would you like to have been in?
A Hard Day's Night. It would have been great fun to run around with the Beatles.

I really like: Rear Window, Witness for the Prosecution, The Blues Brothers, Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2, the first Pirates of the Carribean movie but not the second one, almost all Tim Burton movies, Cary Grant movies (North By Northwest in particular), Giant, Pillow Talk, any Laurel and Hardy , almost all Charlie Chaplin(City Lights especially), the original Longest Yard with Burt Reynolds, Rudy, Napoleon Dynamite, Superman and Superman 2, Manchurian Candidate, Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, Spinal Tap, Grease, Star Trek 2:The Wrath of Khan , Braveheart, Passion of the Christ, Young Frankenstein.

HOURGLASS FIGURE EQUALS BRAINS?

The New York Post reports:

These hips don't lie - women with hourglass figures tend to be more intelligent and have smarter kids, a new study says.

Researchers have even come up with a scientific explanation for their theory - and for why men prefer voluptuous women with large hips and small waists.

It's all about omega-3 fatty acids and a woman's waist-to- hip ratio, or WHR - a mea surement that, according to an online calculator offered by Rush University Med ical Center in Chicago, "looks at the proportion of body fat stored on your waist compared to that stored at your hips and buttocks."

You calculate it by dividing the waist circumference by the hip circumfer ence.

The lower the WHR, the better, according to the study by William Lassek of the University of Pittsburgh and Steven Gaulin of the University of California at Santa Barbara.

The study found that women who had a larger difference be tween their waist and hip mea surements scored higher in tests than did those with "apple-shaped" bodies.

"Women with lower WHRs and their chil dren have significantly higher cognitive test scores," their study found.

They say that's because the fat on a woman's hips and thighs contains omega-3 fatty acids, which help in "critical brain-building" - and the curvier the hips, the higher the level.

The fat around the waist has higher qualities of omega-6 fatty acids, less helpful to brain growth.
